 The Oyster Inn, Butley - The Oyster Inn at Butley 

Only a 2.5 miles away and can be reached by car or on foot.  We suggest you ring before arriving to check food serving times. 

 Open 7 days a week from 12 noon to 11pm.  Menu can be found at reception. Cash on collection, no card payments.  They will deliver to the campsite for orders over £25.00 - there is a small delivery charge of £2.00. Please ring 01394 421200.  You can also collect from Rendlesham which is a 10 minute drive in the car. 

Open 5pm - 8.30pm Tuesday to Saturday . Serving fresh Fish & Chips daily.  Worth a ring if you want to pre-order on 01394 382319. No delivery to site, you will need to collect from

 Honey + Harvey - Specialty Coffee + Handmade Food 

Great place for a Sunday morning brunch, plenty of parking at the weekends. 7.5 miles from the campsite in Melton.  Great for coffee, cake and light lunches made to order with great local ingredients. One of our personal favourites. 

 Wilford Bridge – Wilford Bridge – Deben Inns

A 5.5 miles drive back towards Woodbridge by car. This pub is a great easy pub for families, we suggest a phone call to book as its also popular with locals.  

 The Unruly Pig - UK's Best Gastropub - Michelin Guide | Woodbridge Suffolk 

A 3 Michelin star gastropub, based on the outskirts of Woodbridge. This pub is an advised adult only experience,  4.7 miles from the campsite. You will need to book, but the food is described as "out of this world" by previous guests. 

 Welcome to the Plough & Sail, Snape Maltings, Suffolk 

Part of Snape Maltings, this pub is a 7.5 mile drive from the campsite and offers good quality local food.

 The Ramsholt Arms - Pub, Restaurant, Suffolk 

The Ramsholt Arms sits on the river Deben, with excellent views on a summer evening.  There is a small sandy beach in front of the pub, with a jetty for crabbing.  This is a 10.5 mile drive from the campsite but worth the effort. 

 Home | Sorrel Horse 

The Sorrell Horse is a quintessential thatched pub sitting on a quiet lane in the village of Shottisham. Offering a lunch and evening menu you can reach it by car or bike (through the forest) after an 8 mile trip. 

 Friday Street Farm | Shop, Kitchen and Butchery | Suffolk 

Great place to visit for local farm fresh produce.  There is a great café on site and P.Y.O strawberries in the summer months. Its a 9 mile drive from the campsite - our personal favourite is the walk-in cheese room. 

 Reuben's Butcher, Deli & Bottle Shop  

Great place for Deli specials, sweet treats and beautiful BBQ items.  The Bacon and Chilli turnovers are a pure indulgence. We have also tried the Woodbridge Golf Club sausages which are worth the purchase for your BBQ. 

 Suffolk Food Hall | A fun, foodie day out for the family  

Suffolk Food Hall is a great day out if you are a foodie family.  Look at their website for upcoming events and take a visit for a light lunch overlooking the river Orwell. There are things to do with the kids as well.
