Offering a tranquil escape, camping is spread across 10 acres and features 90 mixed grass and hardstanding pitches for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. There are electric and non-electric pitches to choose from.
Our second smaller camping glade offers 10 non-electric pitches in a more intimate area, perfect for larger gatherings of family, friends or to celebrate special milestones. We also welcome backpackers walking the Suffolk coastal path and cyclists enjoying the wolf-way.
Guests can immerse themselves in the ever-changing landscapes of Suffolk’s coast and heathlands and visit the location of the famous 1980 UFO sighting. The campsite offers direct access to cycling, walking, and hiking trails that wind through the lush forest of Rendlesham. Learn about the area's rich history, including its connections to RAF Woodbridge during WWII, and access a fantastic children’s play area and café easily accessible within Forestry England Rendlesham main car park a short 3 minute walk from the campsite.
Guests can also explore the charming market town of Woodbridge, known as Britain's happiest place to live, where they’ll find unique artisan shops, cosy cafes, and scenic walks along the River Deben. Just a short drive away is the awe-inspiring Anglo-Saxon burial site at Sutton Hoo, offering plenty of family-friendly activities.
